MR-HM 380 Cavitation dans les pompes Équipement didactique Établi hydraulique La description
• visualisation des effets de cavitation dans une pompe transparente
• vitesse de pompe réglable en continu
• circuit d'eau fermé
One of the most common causes ofcavitation effects are fast moving objects in the water, such as the impellersof a centrifugal pump. If cavitation occurs on the impeller, the high mechanical stress sometimes results in separation or deformation of particles from thesurface. In addition to the impeller geometry, intake pressure and temperatureare also relevant for the occurrence ofcavitation. The MR-HM 380 unit can be used todemonstrate cavitation effects on impellers of centrifugal pumps. Pump housing and the pipe at the inlet side ofthe pump are made of transparentplastic in order to visualise the cavitationprocesses. It is possible to capture excellent images of the vapour bubbles bytaking photographs with short exposuretimes (flash). In order to influence the flow velocity atthe impeller blades, the speed can bechanged within a wide range via a frequency converter. Valves at the inlet andoutlet of the pump enable the flow rateand pressures to be adjusted accordingly. Pressures on the inlet and outlet sideare displayed on two manometers. Alsodisplayed are the water temperature inthe tank, flow rate and pump speed. Thewater temperature can be controlledand the tank is fitted with a heater. Thewater is cooled via the water supply.
